You know - I never knew what full support was until now. It's true. Naturally, I've had boyfriends that have had my back - but none that would break their back to make sure WE'RE comfortable. I have parents that love and support me, but they also shove things in my face and make sure they remind me of all my past inadequacies (believe me, there have been a lot in my 30 nothing years). Sure, I have a few friends that have done incredibly kind and nice things for me, but the truth is, most of them know me from a distance. For the first time EVER, I'm hearing and seeing things that are making me realize my own selfishness and feel this undeniable support from my new man. It's a new kind of feeling I've never had before.

One of my major faults has always been that I was afraid to speak my mind, especially to people I loved and didn't want to judge me. As I've grown up, I realize that it has stemmed from my mother always demanding a lot from me, and never really being satisfied. (Just like Prince's momma). It became shameful and out of control and would make me a liar, would make me run away, and would make me fear anything I knew would make me uncomfortable. Let's say I broke a plate accidentally, I'd rather just say I don't know anything about the plate then face the embarrassment and condescension of being scolded for it.

The truth is, my first real relationship had to deal a lot with it. I lied to him constantly, even when I did no wrong. I was afraid of what he might think - and worse, what he would say to me. I regret not being more of a woman, and cringe at how he probably thinks I have no back bone at all. One thing I respected from him, is he always said and did what he felt - whether it was selfish or dead ass wrong. But you KNEW it was REAL. The problem is, I felt judged harshly by him. I was with him through my growing years 17 - 27. He taught me a lot - just never made me feel safe. Knowing my mother, I knew he understood, but it was still out of control. Knowing is half the battle, the other is having the courage to do what it takes to change bad habits. Every moment is your judge and can catapult you to personal achievement. I was always terrified of repercussions - yet God constantly put me in situations that would force me to change my ways, and I'd opt the "easy" way out - which was NEVER truly easy! (Hence my long rap sheet for traffic violations).

My second boyfriend...I was able to tell him the truth about myself and let him into my dark places - but sadly, he was more of a coward then I was. He didn't know how to face himself and always blamed others. I feel that in that relationship, I ended up teaching him a lot. Unlike my 10 year relationship, this one only lasted 2 years, but I learned quickly that this type of man would not be beneficial for my growth and security.

The new guy - it's only been a few months - but he's a MAN. I'd say YES immediately if he asked me. He supports me me when my shit stinks, but forces me to take action and do the right thing. He faces all circumstances, whether they frighten him, hurt him, or exhaust him. He looks everything in the eyes and doesn't back down till he accomplishes his goal. Yet, he is humble enough to know when he can't win and can give things to GOD after he tries. For the first time, I'm not ashamed to be myself - even with my faults. I want him to know the truth of my fuck ups, because I don't have to bare them alone. He will go through them with me - yet not in a reprimanding manner; in a problem solving manner.

Today some cold realities came to light (again) and I have to speak with the person that started this buffoonery (momma). And he said something to me that I didn't even consider. Let's cook her dinner, and we'll talk to her together. Simple. Obvious even. But it's funny how all of my other X's would have just let me fend for myself and let me figure it out on my own. Oh - they'd have opinions and a rule book of what I should say and how I should act - but they would have never considered to sit with me and just let it out TOGETHER. I would have never considered to even ask - I'd just do it my way - in a cowardly way. I don't feel ashamed to say that although I pray for strength and know that God guides me all the time, I also know God put this man in my life to straighten me out so I can be a better vessel for His work.

I finally have the support that you can almost only get from your other half. I feel progressive and unstoppable. I am not afraid of failure AT ALL. If I fail, but spoke and acted in truth, I passed God's test. It's soooo spiritual to me. I adore my man and thank God for him. I can now pick up pieces I've tried to sweep under the carpet. I'm not afraid of the outcome. I may have people that NEVER want to mess with me again (I probably deserve it) - but it's better to face it then hide from it. In the long run - I'll respect myself more for it.

First Day of School

Today is Jason's first day of his last year in middle school. I wasn't able to wake up cause I was doing laundry and editing till 5am. I hate that I missed the commotion of his first day. I guess he's growing up though, and I need to be let him be a man. He's taller then all of us now anyway...except for dad, maybe. We'll see pretty soon if he's taller then dad when he gets here from Saudi Arabia. I'ma catch him with the camera after school.

So it's been a long time since I've written in this blog. I've been creating my dream. Sooooo much has happened since I last was here. I've had a full season of my TV Show THE SYPHER 360 SHOW. I've co-directed a host of music videos, 1 of them is currently on worldstarhiphop.com. I had a painful break up and now am experiencing a beautiful new romance. I have a trainer that comes in daily to get me right. I had an office and lost an office. I have a new way of meditating, that is awesome. And truthfully, I've been doing a lot of soul searching and growing. Because of how fast the business is growing, I disappointed some people I really respected. I'm working on gaining their favor back. I truly hope I can redeem it.

Yesterday, a truly great friend of mine said that I've lived and have lived an interesting life. That reminded me that although I'm struggling to find a decent balance, I have to share the truth about what it takes with the few people that follow this blog. That's why I started this blog in the first place. They need to know about the 6 hours of sleep in 3 days and the not finishing things on time and pissing people off and underbidding for a job and not being able to take it back, and losing footage and having to do a free video....

I'm back to share all of these things with my supporters and thank you all for giving me an outlet to tell my story. You never know when it's your time to go.

Just want to let y'all know that my group, the KS Boyz, will be performing LIVE at the CAVE (3430 Covington Highway, Decatur, GA) tomorrow night. If you haven't seen them perform LIVE yet, you've got to come check em out! They are incredible. Full of energy, great lyrics, and the boyz and their crew know how to get it popping! Dance! Dance! I have to say that I am PROUD to manage these young men. Not only are they talented, but they are hardworking, driven, ambitious, humble, and know how to listen and execute. Last week I was filled with pride and happiness.

MONDAY - it was my first time taking the KS Boyz out of town. I also brought my co-host Ling Ling with me and we met Tia Culver out there. We headed over to Wings Cafe in Macon, GA to do it BIG with LJ Malone, a long time friend and GM of the RocHarder DJs for their competition. I got to see so many of my peoples from back in the day. Special LOVE to Sonny Spoon! Yung Berg was in the building and gave me the delicious shout - check it out - makes me feel like a pimp. LOL!

but more exciting then that, the KS Boyz SHUT MACON down performing their hit single "We Too Deep." Here's a taste:

SATURDAY me, Tia Culver, and Vince Phillips put our heads together and came up with a master plan that is going to take ATL and the rest of Georgia by storm! This weekend was full of craziness. I don't even know where to begin, so I guess I'll do this chronologically.

Thursday I went by Melissa Young's house with Cori and was FINALLY able to get J'Lyn the footage of Networking in Atlanta. It was cool sitting with Melissa and building. She was my teacher in Film School and left such a lasting impression on me even though she only taught me like 2 days. She was just so smart and knowledgeable. I appreciated her the moment I met her. I'm excited to see how we will be working together. I need to call her a little later. I finally met the Track Junkies too (Einstein and Cutt). Cori "The Closer" and Einstein were making a dope track for a new artist coming out of SugaShack Music. Here's a taste:

Friday was the photo shoot for The Sypher360 Show. I'm super duper excited for that! I'm thinking we should be able to launch the show for the 25th of November, right before Thanksgiving. Speaking of Thanksgiving, I must thank Sheryland Neal, our lovely producer for putting the whole shoot together. She is proving to be quite great at what she does. She got the photographers, make-up artists, location, clothing and hair in order. Here is her awesome glam squad!

Special love to Shannon McCullom (www.shannonmccullom.com) for doing the photography. I've been wanting to work with him FOREVER and I'm so excited to see what the pictures look like. It was so strange, cause he worked so fast. I felt like I couldn't even get warmed up. Everybody say that's how he works. He just quick with the click, but always gets the essence of the shoot PERFECTLY! Dude has shot with Erykah Badu, John Legend, Cee-lo, Kanye West, and a gang of others. I feel truly blessed and cool as Hell to be part of the pack.
Special LOVE to Victoria of V-Styles. Once again, she made my hair look phenomenal. A braided Mohawk with the middle straight and long and wavy curly. This is going to be my style for a minute - and cornrows.
Sherita Daniels of Perfectly Pretty did my make-up and styled up my hair some, and I must say, I looked ravishing. She was as cute as can be and such a joy to work with. I'm still jocking her style to the fullest. A straight up natural sister that had us listening to gay music the whole time. Gotta love dance music! LOL! Follow her fashion and beauty blog! Sherilyn Marilyn put the magic on Ling-Ling's face. She was looking absolutely adorable. Like a little china doll (without the innocence). LOL. Saturday was Jason's 13th birthday. The little lucky devil got an iPhone for his birthday! He also got this DOPE watch, a dinner at Red Lobster, and he's bout to have a day at Dave and Buster. He said it was his best birthday ever and that made me soooooo happy! I remember when I used to play airplane with him and would take him on my shoulders EVERYWHERE. I truly love that little boy. He's the sweetest thing alive!

I was supposed to do the Pink Event with Urban Spice that night, but everything went crazy. I ended up going the hospital all night long. Because I refuse to claim negative things, I'm not even going to vent about this particular situation.

Sunday was Halloween and I had all the babies here. My nieces and nephews and even my brother Loik. I dressed up like a witch and scared all 20 kids that came to the door. It was weird, but there just wasn't that many kids. I'm wondering if that was because it was a school night...or maybe cause it fell on a Sunday and this is the bible belt? In any case, Halloween just ain't what it used to be. I'm one to talk though...I didn't even put make-up on... Next year, without a shadow of a doubt, I will be prince with the ass out!

Well, that's my weekend in a nutshell. Bout to get my day cranking! I can already feel negativity creeping this direction, but I won't let it beat me!!! No sirree!

I can see the tipping point....

There is always a tipping point when you travel. My journey has been an incredible one full of incredible feats, awesome experiences, and many seemingly "disappointing" moments. Climbing a mountain will definitely make you doubt yourself many times over. It's also something that you must do with a team which adds an extra dynamic to it. As a leader, keeping your FAITH in tact is sometimes the hardest part. Your team mates need encouragement even when you're the one about to give up. People get left behind and some don't realize how important their being there the whole time mattered. The hardest part is knowing that you've almost reached your goal. Reaching the top of the mountain represents so many things. For one, it's a mirage, because that is not your goal, the goal is getting back down to the other side after you've reached the top. But it does represent easier travelling ahead. It makes the sense of purpose larger. It feeds the soul with the necessary fuel. It gives a sense of accomplishment that makes you KNOW that it can be done. Now - it's time to take the whole team home. Safely and in one piece, with all the precious jewels that were taken on this journey.

Ladies and gentleman, although I'm not there yet, I can see the tipping point. My load is HEAVY and I'm fortunate to have a great team. We're getting stronger. We've even added some companions along the way that have strengthened us. We've also let some people go - some have tragically died. It's tough, so we're still pushing, but we're almost there. We can see the tipping point! There is no turning back now!!!!

as we check that every thing is in place

And the second journey begins

Screw the bolts in tight, lubricate the rust away

The Aids Walk Atlanta was successful. I wasn't able to attend that either, but raised $30 as part of team #BeARoleModel. Next year i'ma shoot for $160! I think I can make that happen! Big ups to everybody that helped out to make a difference. Half of the people in America that contract AIDS are under the age of 19years old - HALF! Let's educate and help people protect themselves. Let's also help people that are afflicted live the most comfortable life they can!

With that being said, today I go shopping for The Sypher360 Show! I'm super excited! Also on the agenda: The Miss Georgia Pole Competition contestants will be at WTF Online Radio today. I'm also excited to see a sneak peek at Dahlia von Danger's routine today. Woohooo! I'm so proud of shorty! She's going to be a force to be reckoned with. This is her first feature performance!!! How cool is that!? And then - one of my favorite shows is back on the scene: DresthaBeatnik's Mic Club! I used to drive EVERY Tuesday from Macon, GA to see that years ago! I'm proud and happy for him to get it back up and running. It's at the Royal Peacock for those of you that have never been, it's worth it. Ok, so this weekend has been crazy. I didn't make my awards show (which I lost:() nor did I make it to the AIDS walk. I'm still pleased to have contributed and want to shout out to everybody that was out their representing today!!!

It's crazy. I ain't never been nominated for anything (since school) and this year, I'm up for like 3 awards. Two with the Atlanta Club Awards (Hottest Host and Best Internet radio Station) and one with the SEA awards (Radio Show of the Year). I'm pretty excited. Whether I win or not, I'm just happy to be considered. I'm also happy that my man is FINALLY coming out with me somewhere so we can enjoy and relax. I really dig him. That's my baby boo boo. I want to take this time to thank everybody that has been supportive. I was looking at the clicks for the votes I received and actually saw so many people click that i didn't even realized remembered me or were following me. That truly warms my heart and makes me want to do even better.

So now, what to where what to where? I'm challenged today cause I was enable to go see Yadiyda for my clothes, but I'ma keep it simple and sexy. I may just where this white one piece that I feel pretty in. It's classical and not funky, but this hair has enough funk for everybody! I'm excited to get it done again...I really need to get it re-braided though...it's gonna hafta be Monday or Tuesday though. LOVE Victoria!

Wednesday my homie DJ Aaries hooked it up so I can do interviews at the historic Stankonia! I love going there. I remember when I was 13 years old and was introduced to OutKast by a guy called JC in Saudi Arabia. I loved the music soooo much. Everything about it was fresh, from the sound, to the strange names of the places in Atlanta, to the title (which is still a mouthful). Fast forward to now and I'm in Stankonia with Lil Scrappy, DJ Toomp, Henry Welch, Big Boi, and yesterday I had the pleasure of interviewing Black Owned C-Bone and DJ Aaries! I also met some new cats on the rise, Mykko Montana, Renegade, and gang of other folks.

Recap - 30 things to do before I'm 30 list (4 months to go)

You all have been asking me how I'm doing with my list. I guess I'ma do a monthly recap at the beginning of each month now that I only have 4 months left. It's pretty shameful what I haven't done so far, but I'm proud of some other things. I'ma highlight the things I have NOT done in red. Blue is things I've added since last time. If you want to help me with any, I'm DOWN!

1. Get a six pack - I'm not there yet, but I work out twice a week with the LOVELY Elissa Smallwood. She's incredible and challenging. I'm also eating better and try and do cardio all the other days. Just so you know - I was at 160lbs a month ago. I've lost 15lbs! Yupee!

2. Invest in some stock - I went to watch the movie WALL STREET starring Michael Douglass and Shia LaBeouf Sunday with my boyfriend. I was hoping to gain some clarity, but was totally intimidated by what I learned. It was a tremendous move, but I'm still all the way confused about Bulls and Bears...I may need to get a book.
3. Get nominated for something - We got another nomination for WTFONLINERADIO! I'm so happy because it's with the Southeastern Entertainment Awards which is pretty prestigious! 5. Get My Bio Done - no bio yet -smh! I reached out to my boy Mikey Jordie and actually answered a question and answer with my manager, so I'm getting a little bit closer!
6. Learn to ride a motorcycle - don't even know if I really want to do this anymore - may have to switch this one out - it's getting too cold for this anyway.
7. Spend a weekend on a yacht - haven't gotten close
8. Get 5,000 twitter friends - at a little over 1,250. Gonna buy Jawar's book so I can pick that up some. Need a 1000 a month if I'm going to make it!

9. Help make somebody famous - working on Corey "The Closer", KS Boyz, Dahlia von Danger, L.Ovation, Dirty Dankk and Altered.
10. Go see a pro football game - It's football season, I think this one is coming soon
11. Pose for a national eye candy magazine - Have to get a little more sexy for this one
12. Live COMPLETELY alone - I'm changing this to getting an office somewhere!
13. Learn to make sushi - not even close
14. Record a rap song (or a verse on one) LMAO - a couple of people to record this with me...I think I'ma be able to do it
15. Join the mile high club - haven't even been on a plane yet this year...that's different for me
16. Forgive someone I HATE - I've forgiven EVERYBODY I hate...learning to forgive the things about me I ain't digging.
17. Take nude pictures - traveled all the way to Mississippi for this one
18. Get a Brazilian (ouch!) - still ain't done this one...waiting for it to get cooler...always an excuse here. LOL

Secondly,I got to hang out with the KS Boyz for their Weird Wednesdays, which was GREAT! I really digging their whole squad too! Sweetie pies!!!

Thirdly - I ended up landing some pretty dope gigs.

Fourthly - I looked fabulous in my Yadiyda clothing! I can finally fit her model stuff! (well, some of them). I am officially 15lbs lighter and LOOOOVE my new trainer Elissa! She's a BEAST!

I'm also super excited because my producer is going to see the spot for the SYPHER360 show tonight! WoooHooo!

Today feels like a baaaad day. Everything is scattered. Everything is tattered.
But that's not true either. My defenses are down, my fight has settled.
They say it's easy to be sad and hard to be happy.
I say it's easy to be happy when you ignore your sad.
But it is so much harder to ignore your happy then your sad.
These are the moments you want to sleep.
Nightmares are better then your walking reality.
There is nothing worse then when the people that love you lose faith in you.
Especially when you've wronged them and are too afraid to admit it.
So you hide.
And when you hide, you feel like a rat.
A lowly nasty scuttling greasy tailed rat that doesn't have the guts to take your food out right.
Instead, you lurk in the darkness hoping to sneak your fill.
Leaving your surroundings tainted with your residue.
Nobody likes rats.
I feel like a rat right now.
Hiding in my shame.
I need to switch animals.
Be a lioness or something.

My new show - Sypher 360

First and foremost, I would like to announce that I am 10lbs lighter then I was two Mondays ago! I switched my diet up (NO WHEAT, NO DAIRY, TONS of WATER, PROTEIN, & VEGGIES), exercise almost every day (have a dope new trainer - what up Elissa!), and am using WOW (a meal replacement) and Diet Magic (energy and appetite control). It's working soooo well, that I decided to be a distributer of the company, so if you want to get down, let me know! It's really cool cause my dude is doing it all with me which is making it a lot easier, you know? I can already tell I'ma be jealous though, cause his body is changing so fast and noticeably...dang men. Lol.

Secondly, I've decided to do my own Radio/TV show. I want to call it The Sypher360 Show. I've already found my host: Ling Ling. And I also want to have a DJ, and hope it'll be my boy Talib Shabazz. If not, I'm going straight to LJ from Hood Hard to get that popping. I'm PRAYING that WTF Online Radio will allow me to do it under their wonderful platform. I've got a DOPE crew too. Some lovely people that are on board to help make this a smash. I feel so blessed. Big ups to Tony Roberts, Jlyn, Cori Thomas, Trey, Hermina, and all the people that are showing me love. I actually gave blood last Monday, but will be learning how to give Bone Marrow as well. I felt sooooo great that my blood may be able to help someone in need. As soon as I get my donor card, I'ma take a picture and post it!

You may be wondering how Jason is doing....he's still on crutches and his knee is super swollen, but he's doing much better. We still don't know what he has and all his tests came out negative. Hopefully it will spontaneously disappear just as it has appeared. I took him out to the movies after a scrumptious Italian dinner at Bambinelli's last night and we watched Scott Pilgrim Against The World - BEST MOVIE EVER! It was incredible! Everyone must watch this movie!!! It was so well executed on every level - the cinematography, the acting, the writing...it's a master piece. I do suppose that geeks may have a bit of a larger appreciation for it. I want to be Knives Chow for Halloween this year. LMAO!

Anyway - off to IKEA for another boring ass shopping spree with ma dukes and the shorty. I'm learning to appreciate these moments and just be thankful to have family that I can do things with. You know I'm getting old, cause in the past I would have been hung-over somewhere getting ready to party all over again for Labor Day Weekend. What is Labor Day anyway? What is that holiday about?

Roll with the Punches

Whew! I do not wish a week like this on my worst enemy. But truthfully, I recognize how blessed I truly am. I spent the first half of the week leaving WTF and getting dumped by Club Obsessions (the management changed and they tried to short change the ISH out of me). The second half was spent at the hospital with my baby brother whom was suffering from horrible knee problems. At first we thought he had a sprain, then it progressed and we thought it may be infected, then it progressed and we thought he had blood problems, and now, we're just mystified and waiting on bone marrow and DNA tests to let us know whether he has an Auto Immune Deficiency or virus. It's scary not knowing what's wrong. I'm praying that the doctors don't know and are just trying to stick us for our paper - a much better prospect then knowing my baby brother may have a horrible ailment he'll have to live with for the rest of his life. That - I don't want to accept and I thank God that my momma is such a great healer and will set him right NO MATTER the ailment the doctors want to put on him. I had a new found respect for nurses and doctors though, I must say. It was the BEST hospital visit I've experienced. Emory Children's Hospital is filled with caring and capable staff. I almost felt like I was in a resort (minus the stress, machines beeping, brother crying, physical therapy, and lack of beach). They had a garden, a library, a game room, and the cafeteria had good home-style food and healthy choices. For that, I am going to give blood today. For any one that knows me, I'm a sucker and don't do too well in situations in which I know people are in pain and hurt. So, although I want to dedicate some time to the hospital, I'm going to start by giving blood, and then volunteering once a month at the media center. I wish I had a fairy princess outfit and cute high pitched voice, cause I'd go in there with a magic wand and throw pixie dust around for all the kids (scratching my chin with pondering look in my face). I may just have to do that...

Now everything ain't all bad. I now have a manager. Chris Joseph is now representing me. I believe this will be a great marriage and I'm excited as to how we will move forward. I need somebody that not only has the almighty dollar in sight, but is willing to develop me. I mean REALLY develop me appropriately. I'll let you know how that goes.

Why is it so hard to let go? Whether it's someone you love, a pair of jeans that haven't fit you in ions, or a business venture that just ain't working - the thought of letting go is similar to the fear of death. I made a big decision yesterday, slept on it, and stuck to it. I've decided to quit WTFonlineradio.com. Its crazy because it feels like I'm turning my back on my baby that I carried for months in my womb, and then allowed to suckle my breast, and before I could see her crawl, I put her in a basket and set her in front of a church.

It's not what you think it is. I don't have beef with my co-hosts. I love them to death. (Make sure you follow them on twitter! @rawdog_wtf @cashcarter_wtf @ashika_mscali @wtfonlineradio). I am not burned out - tired - but still got a whole lot of candle left to light the world with. But there is this situation with the location we're at in which I fear I'll kill somebody - literally. This dude is just relentless in his bullshit and I'm fed up. I don't like negativity around me, and I'm certainly NOT going to allow this CLOWN to turn me into a beast. I've been cordial, helpful, and respectful. I will not and cannot be disrespected by anybody, I don't care what they may have for me. I don't need anything from someone that can't show me respect. (Unless you're my momma, momma gets away with a lot) lol.

It's 5:17 in the morning. I got up at 4:30, and I'm already done with my morning pages, and almost breakfast. I've been slipping hard! But I ain't tripping on that. I recognize that when I was the most disciplined with my work out regimen, I got up EARLY and got it out of the way first. So here I am. Hoping to be at Bally's by 6am and getting a solid hour in. At this time, it's time for me to realign myself and propel myself to higher heights with my EVERYTHING. They say time waits for no man, and I am no exception. I decided to reach back and see where I am with my bucket list. Here we go:

Femcees - Models with Mics?

I was so impressed with tonight's show. Our guest host was not only beautiful, eloquent, and classy, but Milion could really SPIT! At the end of our show we let all the femcees spit a freestyle and they got it popping! The only disappointing factor was Ms. Behavin not rocking the mic, but I already know she writes for mad people and her discography speaks for itself. It was interesting hearing her talk about her hit song "Hit That Bitch With A Bottle" and being so powerful and regal and responsible, and then, on the other hand listening to Chiba talk about saving "Ghetto girls", and acting GHETTO as all hell. Liquor does that though... Chiba was out talking everybody although it's obvious she's full of LOVE. Chiba spit FIRE too! Heidi Fly was a really interesting and great breathe of fresh air. She really is a ROCK STAR and had very poignant points concerning how the industry and fans expect our beloved talent to act. Robyn Fly snuck in on the sneak tip at the end of the show and also spit a dope freestyle that I must admit, I didn't expect. Her color didn't have anything to do with it, her aura just made me think she didn't have it in her, but she spit a hard one and then sipped her Henny like she ain't do ish! LOVE IT! We also had a special guest - GLO whom will hopefully be a grand addition to the WTF Entertainment team by adding a mainstream 2 our segment to the beginning of of WTF's show starting in the end of August. Just so you know, we are in talks of expanding, and it feels sooooo good! :) I need to give special love and shout outs to the people that help this show run every week. First and foremost to my co-hosts Raw Dog, Cash Carter, and Ms Cali (whom wasn't there tonight). 2High Studios (Shay, Nick, & Cortez). All of our interns and assistants Hermina, Brad, Brian. Our producer Trey. And of course to all of the studio audience members and fans out there listening. Turning the Phone Off

Phew. It's finally over. This week was tough.

Saturday was a day full of love. It started out grueling. I was supposed to go to the Oprah audition early in the morning, but ended up oversleeping due to the lack of sleep I had the night before. I still woke up super early to get ready for the day. I was terribly disappointed when none of my peoples was picking up the phone and my boyfriend told me he had something else to do in the morning. It made me want to cry and I was super irritated. In the end, everyone came through for me. Although everybody was late, they made it and we had a great presence for the event. The truth is, I was filled with love from my team and for the first time in a long time, I truly feel like I'm part of a great team situation and I'm not doing all the work myself. Still feel alone alot and don't know how to appoint things properly, but I do have a team. Special shouts to Ma, Jason, Cori, Joe, Trey, Dion, Anthony, Cortez, Nick, and Ook for showing me true love and helping out.

A-Town Day wasn't really what I expected. It was a festival of Health Awareness with minimal health booths. There were 3 stages of music with music blaring and tons of kids running around not really engaging in the health aspect of the event. I'm still pleased at the effort and hope to assist in helping them for next year. I think it's important to engage the hip hop generation to the benefits of good health. I am proud that we succeeded in our first vending experience and honestly can't wait for the next ones. I had two tables. One for Lovoi.org, and one for WTFOnlineRadio. Although the traffic wasn't thick, we met some incredible people that I hope to work further with. I'm terribly excited for the growth of these two companies.

After A-Town Day I finally got to see Altered perform live at the Vinyl. They were incredible! I'ma post their video soon for you to see, cause they are really talented. They sound just like their CD. I really believe I can take them to the next level.

With that being said, I'm turning off my phone today. Don't want to speak to anybody. Just want to relax!!!

I've always thought I was flexible. As someone who's traveled the world and been fortunate enough to do so many cool things, I thought I had the ability to adapt to different circumstances. What I've just discovered is although I may be able to adapt to different circumstances, my brain is very rigid when it comes to personal development.

If I set goals for myself, I'm really hard on myself and the slightest change of circumstance will have me thrown off course. For example, let's say I need to be in bed by 9pm so I can wake up at 4am to do my exercise, meditation, morning writing, Tundruk, eat well and get dressed by the time 9am comes around. If something comes up (like last night having to take the lovely Dahlia von Danger to jail at 10pm), it literally mind rapes me into feeling like I can't do all of the things I planned. I will end up making excuses and have to start all over on a Monday. And yes...I always have to start any plans on a Monday or it doesn't feel right.

That's stupid, right? My goal is to be more flexible. I don't need to beat my self up cause I woke up at 7am instead of 4am. If I don't get my exercise in before 9pm, I can still do it later, or just skip a day. The world will not end, and I don't have to wait till the top of the week to start on my goals. I need to be able to go with the current and breeze through life with no problems. Life always throws curve balls. Expect the unexpected and adapt. Don't be sturdy in your ways.

So DAHLIA von DANGER, a model/feature dancer I represent had to turn herself into the police last night. It was bananas. The lucky little devil ended up getting out on a signature bond and it just reminded me of the first time I went to jail at 19 years old. I actually pulled out some jail house poetry and writings to share with y'all when I was in the hole...

I was only allowed out of my cell for an hour a day and wasn't allowed to read or anything. HELL on EARTH! Never again...(or should I be flexible). I don't know...everyone ain't Mandela!

A note to my father on Father's Day

I want you to know that I love you dearly and feel so blessed that I have you in my life. I know it may appear as though I take you for granted sometimes when I don't do as you ask immediately despite the unwavering love that you have for me. Please know that I don't, and all I want in this lifetime is to make you proud and hope to someday relieve the burden of having to take care of all of us. You've equipped me with so many jewels in my life, and I am sincerely beyond grateful. Although I may not be making much money (yet) and sometimes cause needless problems (the car accident), please know that your love and dedication to raising me has not gone in vain. I look around and feel so lucky that I have a father whose stuck by me at my lowest moments. I'm so ashamed that I haven't amounted to more, but I'm working HARD at it and know that one day you'll see the fruition of your labor manifested. If this world were filled with men like you, there would be nothing but peace, love, and intelligence abounding. I am so pleased and proud that you are my father. You've always lived with a high ethical code which makes you one of the greatest role models in my life (momma too). I love you so much and think you are just one of the greatest human beings I've ever encountered. Thank you for choosing a wonderful wife to help raise us daddy. Walk In Your Authority

I got into a terrible car crash last Saturday leaving Cristal the Great's Birthday Pool Celebration. I crashed right into a parked car as I was adjusting the GPS system. Thankfully I left with minimal damage to my body and didn't physically hurt anybody. Unfortunately the owner of the vehicle I hit had an outstanding warrant and went to jail, and my car may be totaled. Horrible since the last car note was literally JUST PAID a week prior.

The past week has been tough. I've found myself crying a lot and questioning my path in life. The stupid decisions I've made that have not only slowed me down, but affected the people around me. The accident with my car was pure negligence. So many people rely on me and I just SCREWED up horribly. To add fuel to the fire, my family, boyfriend, and friends have been so supportive and kind to me - making me feel blessed, but terribly guilty.

So, yesterday I went to church. Although I don't proclaim to be a Christian, I go to not only support my mother, but also to gain a better understanding of my boyfriend's religion. This particular sermon spoke mountains to me. Judge Melvin Johnson gave testimonials and spoke of the story of Lazarus. In his testimony, he spoke about how God was responsible for making him Chief Judge at the age of 35 and told his incredible story. My eyes couldn't stop watering at the incredible power of God and his inspiring story of faith. What ended up truly hitting home though, was what he got out of the story of Lazarus. It being father's day, he chose this story to inspire men to be visionaries, compassionate, and to walk in their authority. Naturally, it spoke to all men and women. He said that as a visionary, God speaks to us and we must stay firm in our understanding and decisions. When Jesus took 4 days to raise Lazarus from the dead, he had all types of peer pressure and gossipers questioning and doubting him, but he remained steadfast in what he knew he must do. Secondly, when Jesus finally arrived at the house of Lazarus, his sisters (Mary & Martha) were naturally upset with him and people were crying and the gossipers were talking mess about him. Instead of getting upset or saying I told you so, he showed compassion and "Jesus wept", not for Lazarus, because he knew he'd lift him from the dead, but because of everyone else. Naturally, when one stops crying, they must fix the situation instead of dwelling in the sorrow and misery. So Jesus lifted Lazarus from the dead and Walked in His Authority.

This sermon truly hit home for me and is something that I know I will remember for eternity. As a visionary, I knew I wasn't supposed to go to Cristal's party. Honestly, I didn't want to miss out on all the fun and also didn't want her and her brother to think I was a flake since I haven't shown up to anything. I went, and then crashed the car. Of course, many people were PISSED off; my mother was PISSED off since she also relies on the car, Cristal was disgusted cause I caused trouble at her otherwise successful and fun party, and my boyfriend was annoyed for not being safer with my life. Many times I also was pissed because I didn't want to be judged and was tired of hearing people's mouths, but I must show compassion. I messed up and must feel where they're coming from...even if it feels obsessive. I shouldn't expect people to instantly be okay from a simple sorry. Lastly, although this is a major bump in the road, I must walk in my authority. Make sure all parties feel reassured that I will do better next time. Apologize to the right people. Handle the situation of the car. Know that God will forgive me and get on my knees and pray. Be an example. And that is what I've learned and will carry with me forever. REMEMBER LAZARUS.

I lot has happened since my first blog. Things didn't quite happen the way they were supposed to. I'm back at 150lbs (goal is to have a 6 pack by the time I'm 30 in 9 months), I haven't been meditating, doing my morning pages, nor my 6X book every day. I've also only done 2 things on my 30 things to do before I'm 30 list. The truth is, I've just been exhausted. I'm not even going to beat myself up about it, because despite falling off the wagon a few times - I've done some incredible things and just needed to ease into this new way of life.

1) My radio show is officially at over 20,000 hits a show (started at 47 four months ago). Check us out at www.wtfonlineradio.com
2) Have a new office downtown.
3) Lovoi Sustainable Villages has officially gained support from the government for some BIG projects. I'm officially working on new fundraisers, so hit me up with any questions.
4) I've also decided to manage myself, which is a BIG deal. I've been searching for somebody to take that role, but it hasn't been successful. At first it hurt me pretty bad, cause it feels like maybe somebody doesn't feel like i'm worth it, but got over that insanity and decided to take matters in my own hands.
5) I'm in the midst of doing 2 mixtapes (FINALLY).
6) This weekend I'm in Mississippi for a photoshoot.

With that being said - I'm BAAAAACK! Focused and ready! I've been charging up ready to take over the world! Watch me do me!!!

Seeing Through Different Eyes

My sight is no longer rigid. I see in translucent layers of color. Each situation can cast a different result depending on how the light hits. Anticipation still sneaks by trying to mold outcomes. But my sight dampers its persistence causing it's unclear and excitable notions to be uncertain in it's conclusions.

I notice that I can breathe easy again, letting myself exhale more frequently. My jaws release and are no longer tense. The rapidly moving thoughts in my mind are diluted a trillion fold. This is what it means to live easy.

Understanding that pain is relative - as is happiness. The line between love and hate is non-existent - it's the same emotion. What I see with my own two eyes is always an illusion. The voices I hear with my own two ears are heard, but incoherent.

Now life is truly exciting. I ride experience like a wave always surprised when I land, forever finding treasure. Whether land is barren or lush - I'm just happy to experience life.

Another Angel to Watch Over Us

My friend's mom died this morning. 3rd and 4th degree burns to over 70% of her body. I remember that dark morning in Saudi Arabia when I came home with my baby brother Loik, and the doctors told me that my mother (whom was 8 months pregnant) had been in a horrible fire and was going to die. My father was in the hospital with 2nd degree burns and came home hysterical and afraid as he was the one to put the fire out. I was 12 years old and my life changed. Although I became very strong, I was extremely vulnerable. I grew up over night. Had to take care of my family, handle my regular responsibilities of going too school, deal with preteen hormonal issues, and I started dealing with alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes. I felt guilty for what had happened to my mother. Without getting into details, I believe that if I was at home, it would have never happened.

When Vicky told me her Mom had just got burned several weeks ago, my initial reaction was to run away from all the feelings that it conjured up inside of me. I didn't realize how many emotions and feelings I literally stuffed deeply away. I was just a child and didn't really know how to deal with it. I remember turning born again Christian, and secretly chain smoking, and staying drunk and high. I got lucky, despite all odds, momma made it through. Although altered permanently from scars, I still had my momma. I remember resenting her for needing me so much and am still struggling with the guilt of not being happily helpful.

I spoke to Vicky almost every day when her mom first got burned. She sounded so strong and I was shocked to find that I had some jewels to share with her. 1) Don't listen to anything the doctor says. Don't give up. Just pray and talk and sing to your momma because even though she can't see, she can hear you - even if it's subconscious. She just called me and thanked me and my mom for being their and I sit here typing this letter with tears streaming down my face. In a calm and steady voice, she told me her mom passed and even expressed her hopes for her coming around in 3 months, but she's gone. She wasn't even crying. God my sister is a pillar of strength.

My mom says that it was the best thing for her to die, despite what her family wanted. She says that from what she knows and has experienced, that her age and the severity of her burns were too much to bare. I'm just left humbled and grateful. As much as I get angry and annoyed with my mother, she's here with me loving me and guiding me. The story of my family has been TOUGH - to say the least, but we have a bond and strength that only comes when people go through extremely painful experiences.

I'm ashamed to talk to Vicky because I may have given her false hopes. I don't know what to say to someone who's just lost their mother and was looking at my situation as a reference point for perseverance. I must straighten up and just be there for her anyway I can. I wish I was as strong and confident as she is and am thankful that I have been forced to relive the darkest parts of my life.

Many of you know that some of these things will be particularly challenging - especially cursing. I have a horrible potty mouth. And sometimes I wonder the significance of not cursing at all. What does it really hurt? - it's just another form of expression which is sometimes REALLY accurate. What's the difference of saying Fudge instead of Fuck? Or not saying either one and thinking it? Nothing - really. I've just noticed for the first time that people express utter shock when they hear me curse. It was like when I used to smoke and people would look at me and say they would have NEVER in a million years expected me to smoke. Now - as I'm getting older - I want to match that perception that people have of me with true actions. What does that say about somebody when they think you are incapable of smoking or using profanity. To me, it is a form of respect to be envisioned that way. I know I have a particular form of respect for people that appear to live "clean" lives. Well - I want to be a role model. I want to be revered. With that being said - you now know my moral code of living. Here is a poem I wrote this morning when I woke up and decided I'd stop cursing:

So I went on an audition today dressed as a "Latin Terror". I had on a slinky black dress with tons of leg and tatas showing and put this incredible long blue black wig on all topped off with a red rose and blood red lipstick. I was surprised at all the attention I got. Guys just couldn't stop staring and I was rather bewildered at the torrents of compliments thrown my way. I usually get a lot of love, but this was times 10! And now I know why girls are addicted to fake hair and short skirts. There's a power in gaining the attention of all those in your circumference. I found myself driving, wanting the other drivers to notice me in the car. Ridiculous. It was fun for the day - and I may let my alter ego out on a couple of nights to paint the town red -- Her Name Shall Be Blood Raven (after the movie I just auditioned for). Here is her story:

Oral Fixation

I have an oral fixation.
I just LOVE the swallowing sensation.
Different textures in my mouth, is what life should be about.
Something gushy in my cheek or tart on the tip of my tongue.
Makes me feel all warm inside, makes me sing little songs.
The mere thought and I salivate.
I drool daydreaming of thick icing cake.
Mexican, Jamaican, Indian, and African,
Mix all the spices up and I'll take 'em!
A chick like me don't discriminate.
Just pile the food up high on my plate!!!

LMAO! Why did I write that as soon as I woke up? Lol! I'm so greedy!!!! I'm at 143lbs today though - YUPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I'm gonna be sooooo SEXY and healthy! Watch!

Today I go to meditation class with my dear friend Jlyn! Although I'm excited, I'm more so excited for her. She's not only going to love the class, but it's going to change her life and I want to see the transformation. Plus, I've been slacking - from meditating EVERY day to not at all this week - I need to get my mind back. It takes discipline to stay focused with your objectives - and mine are not small ones! With that being said, meditation today - and back to yoga tomorrow!

Tonight, after the Thrashers game, I'm going to the Geisha House to support Amber's event there with the WTF family. Matter of fact - this poem I wrote today is dedicated to her...The Mouth of the South. LOL!
I WILL NOT drink or smoke there tonight! I WILL NOT! Plus - I still have around 20 more pounds to go - can't do that with yeast and suger floating around my tummy. LOL.

With that being said - I will share my personal ethical code with you later.

Fell off the Wagon

I'm so ashamed. I got TWISTED twice this week! Not only was that unsafe (I was driving), but I probably took in 5000 calories. I'm so shook, I didn't even look at the scale until today. Oh - and I also ended up smoking a good deal too. (BOOOOOOOO)

The truth is, I had MAD fun though. I went to Roosters and was flabbergasted with all the love I received. This guy (JP - new producer in town from South Carolina) came up to me and was like, "Who are you? You're getting more shout outs then Warren G and Big Boi." As corny as that sounds, it made me feel really good. I've been out of the clubs for so long that I felt forgotten, but I guess some relationships stick. Henry Welch (the most feared man in comedy) was on the mic wyling out and showing love. I also hit up Pin Ups and Mist and Shooter Alley. I forgot how I used to get it in!!! My goal is to NOT drink ANYTHING tomorrow night at the Geisha House with Amber Swallows and those crazy fools! She did say that she will be teaching me how to bootie shake tommorrow (a feat the most skilled dancers haven't been able to accomplish)!

Anyway - I'm at a respectable 145lbs right now. My goal is to be at 140 by the end of next week...I might be there now if I actually didn't drink and did more then two days on the P90x. I'm back on it tomorrow morning, I promise...As for my spiritual stuff - I'm doing well. I will share my personal ethical code with you tomorrow.

30 Things to do Before I'm 30

I've been ashamed of certain yearnings that I've had and made excuses for not wanting them. I either acted like I was too good to do something (like take eye candy pictures) or too humble to want something (get nominated for something). When I really analyze myself, there are a bunch of things that I want or want to do that will make me feel pretty cool. It doesn't matter to me why or what it may represent to somebody else. If I want to pose nude before I lose my youth so I can remember my body, so what? Who cares what my mother or some critic may think. I don't want to live with too many regrets that were avoidable. It may be pretentious to want 5,000 twitter friends, but the truth is, I feel cool that I maxed out my Facebook page and have 30,000 Myspace friends. Why am I pretending? In the same token, fear and laziness have stopped me from claiming other curiosities. I can't dance, so I don't want to look stupid taking salsa classes. it's not even about that - it's about learning something new and having fun and not hiding behind fear. I might always suck at it, but I bet I'll feel great in my high heels with a sexy flowing dress twirling around a little bit with somebody, so why not go for it?

With that being said, here is a list I posted on Facebook 2 months ago of 30 Things to do Before I'm 30. I will be 30 February 1st, and am proud to have done ONE thing on this list (#20 - start my blog). Yupee! PS: I'm 146lbs!!! :) Lost 6lbs in 4 days!!! :) I actually did P90X last night b4 I went to bed...probably NOT happening tonight. :(

The only thing that remains constant is change. This is one of the oldest adages that we seem to forget when we make decisions. I don't know how often I hear people say they are cleaning house and want to cut people off. It's funny because I always thought I was a forgiving person and didn't hold grudges, but this year, I reacquainted with several people that I had written off for life. Some of them I purposely reached out to in an attempt to heal and face old wounds. Others came to me and I know it's cause I called them subconsciously, deeply wanting closure. Honestly it doesn't even matter who was right or wrong - time heals old wounds and people are allowed to change. I only have two more people I need to gain closure from - one of them a former best friend who cheated on me with my boyfriend, the other someone that threatened the life of my family. Some say this is a can of worms that should stay closed. I believe that your worst enemies should be treated like your best friends - that is something a very wise man told me and although I haven't mastered it yet - it has taught me great patience and wisdom.

And just when I thought I would never cut any body off again - I have cut somebody off today. Ironic, huh? I don't know for how long, but it is an unhealthy relationship. I'm just happy that I'm doing it at a time when I'm not angry, I just see the bigger picture and need to protect my business. I've been working with this person for a year, but it has been stagnant. I could point the finger, but I truly believe we create our own realities so it's my fault. I've known this for quite some time and have been trying to rectify it. In a way, it was a test to see if I could actually change somebody and their circumstances through love and understanding, but now, I just realize that if I keep doing the same things with no change - I'm just insane. I'm wondering what your thoughts are of this? Here's a poem I wrote this morning about this:

I tried everything to stick by you

but my colors couldn't break your blue

My attempts to fix things you screwed

So now my compassion for you I outgrew.

A full year of dealing with you has passed

Can't help but feel guilt for failing your ass

Am I wrong for running away

As for my goals...

1) Practicing the laws of The Diamond Cutter

I was generous with my time and resources half of my day (didn't work on a database for a friend that I promised to complete or help my ma with her dresser although I could have spent less time on FaceBook)

Didn't engage in talk that splits people up (but mentally was PISSED off with several things - A person that made a very insensitive comment on FB and I judged someone for supporting something I didn't agree with).

2) Exercising, eating well, and meditating daily - COMPLETELY stop smoking and drinking

149lbs Didn't smoke or drink. Didn't exercise (Day 2 of P90X! I will try and do it before I go to bed. It's funny how your mind can play tricks on you. My friend Ookie said that Plyometrics was going to kick my ass, so I've been scared since day 1 kicked my ass and he said it was easy. Gotta do it anyway! Eating well? Let's just say I followed one third of my diet but cheated with some "Sticky Boobas" (corn tortillas with melted cheese on top) CHEESE MESSES ME UP EVERY TIME. And as for the meditating - I'll get that in tonight after I work out too.

3) To stop saying NO to opportunities due to FEAR and/or LAZINESS.

I did something I've been afraid of for quite some time, and that was making an important decision on the direction of my career with my manager.

I better get to working out before I say it's too late! My bed time is 3am! Gotta get up early to take my baby brother to Home Depot on Sydney Marcus to make a butterfly house. 3pm meet me at Freedom Parkway for a huge PILLOW FIGHT!

Hey Friends,

Thank you so much for showing interest in my blog: Sypher 360.

A "cipher" is a puzzle that must be figured out. Sypher 360 is my journey to putting the pieces of the puzzle together. My aim is to inspire change and help people achieve success and self-awareness through this blog. I've been in the game for 12 years and am just now experiencing the joys and fruits of my labors and most importantly, my life. My goal is to share my life with you honestly so you can learn from all the mistakes I've made in the past and watch how they're being rectified and the challenges that come with it.

Many of you know me as Sypher or Sista Sypher or The Queen of the Mic. My titles have included (but are not limited to) Producer/Director for Video City in New York, On Air Personality for Foxie 107, Director of Marketing for Grip Magazine, Editor for Xcitement Magazine, Master of Ceremonies and DJ (for 1000s of events), Manager to several artists and models, Actress, Director, Assistant Director, & Writer. At 29 years old, I have been blessed with a lifetime of experience in the entertainment field.

The truth is, with all the bootleg celebrity that I have, I have gained moderate success to say the least. For someone that speaks several languages, been all over the world, held pretty prestigious positions, I don't have as much to prove for it as I should. My story is filled with great successes tainted with alcohol & drug abuse, dishonesty, bad relationships and self-hate. Those that KNOW me know this to be true - most of you don't know me and probably thought I had all my shit together as I struggled to achieve my dreams.

Since November of last year, my life took a 360 degree turn in the most wonderful direction. I read a book called "The Diamond Cutter" and suddenly all the mixed up puzzle pieces in my life started to come together. I've always been somebody that LOVED people, and for this, I believe I've been saved a horrible plight. The problem is, I didn't always know how to love people properly . This blog is one of self discovery, growth, and maturity and I am honored (though frightened) to share it with you. You will see me NAKED and I hope this will give you the strength to do what is necessary to not only be a happier more complete person, but to make your mark in the world in a profound way as I know I now have the tools to do.

There are 3 things that I am dedicating myself to for a full year starting today:

1) Practicing the laws of The Diamond Cutter book - if you haven't read it, GET IT NOW!

2) Exercising every day, eating well, and COMPLETELY stop smoking and drinking - My goal is to have a 6 pack by the time I'm 30 (February 1st 2011). As you know - one of the most challenging things, mentally and physically, is losing weight and achieving the body that you want, especially when you reach a certain age.

3)To stop saying NO to opportunities due to FEAR. I will set out to do EVERYTHING I've every dreamed of. (I'll post my 30 things to do before I'm 30 blog in a couple of days).

My theory is that if I dedicate myself to the principles of the Diamond Cutter (which i will explain more in detail each day) and grab my nuts and do things I was previously scared of (although I've just admitted it), I will be a powerhouse to be reckoned with. Not only will I be financially sound, but will be responsible for helping many others achieve well-balanced happiness and success. I want to die knowing that I put smiles on every face I came in contact with through empowerment.
